Music Department to Host U.S. Air Force Brass Ensemble in Concert

The Westminster College Department of Music will host Wright Brass of the U.S. Air Force Band of Flight in concert Thursday, March 15, at 2 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.  The program is free and open to the public.

Wright Brass, one of four classical ensembles within the U.S. Air Force Band of Flight, has a brassy blend of sound, style, and humor that makes it an entertaining choice for all audiences.  From public relations performances to high-level military functions, quality is the hallmark of this group that has conducted master classes and given concerts at many colleges and universities across the nation.

The U.S. Air Force Band of Flight is one of 12 bands in the Air Force.  The band's purpose is to support the global Air Force mission in war and peace by fostering our national heritage and by providing professional musical services for official military, recruiting, and community relations events.  Click here for more information about the Band of Flight.
