Employees Recognized for 682 Years of Service

Westminster College honored 44 employees with a combined 682 years of service during the annual employee recognition luncheon attended by more than 250 current and retired employees May 9 in the Witherspoon Rooms of the McKelvey Campus Center.

Retiring from Westminster College are: Joel H. Cunningham, groundskeeper; Carol L. Eberhart, communications assistant; Donald P. Howard, duplicating and bulk mail supervisor; Dr. William L. Johnson, professor of physics; B. Eugene Nicholson, professor of physical education; and Patricia Salmen, cashier for Sodexho Dining Service.

Other honorees were:

35 years of service - Liza J. Green, cook with Sodexho Dining Service.

30 years of service - Dr. Gary D. Lilly, associate professor of sociology, and Ralph L. Shelenberger, upholsterer in the crafts unit.

25 years of service - Kimberlee K. Christofferson, director of human resources.

20 years of service - Steven J. Connell, grounds unit supervisor; Michael W. Cosgrove, crafts unit supervisor; Evelyn R. DeSantis, salad prep with Sodexho Dining Service; Carol L. Eberhart, communications assistant; Leslie L. Kendall, coordinator of development computer operations; and Shaun J. Toomey, head athletic trainer.

15 years of service - Stacey (Dando) Walker, salad prep with Sodexho Dining Service; Edward Galanski, College electrician; Mary C. James, director of alumni relations; Dr. Mandy B. Medvin, professor of psychology; JoeAnn Miller, executive secretary in the president's office; Dr. Deborah C. Mitchell, associate professor of English and public relations; Carol P. Mounts, gifts processor in the office of institutional advancement; Dr. James C. Rhoads Jr., associate professor of political science; Patricia A. Wallace, custodian; and Carol L. Yova, director of Lifelong Learning/Continuing Education.

10 years of service - Glenda J. Antus, catering supervisor with Sodexho Dining Service; Dr. Joseph M. Balczon, associate professor of biology; Jean A. Breetz, cook with Sodexho Dining Service; Cheryl Gerber, director of financial aid; Louisa A. Hilke, application processor; Dr. Camila Bari Lopez, associate professor of Spanish; Mark A. Meighen, senior director of advancement administration; Kathy J. Metrocavige, custodian; Carol S. Morrow, secretary in the Department of English and Public Relations; Beth A.
