Westminster College Offers Personal Enrichment Classes

Westminster College announces several personal enrichment and leisure courses for community residents. Continuing Education classes and seminars are non-credit and are open to all interested individuals. Formal admission to Westminster College is not required.

Microsoft Excel is scheduled Tuesdays and Thursdays, Nov. 7, 9, 14, and 16, from 7-9 p.m. This course offers a basic outline of creating spreadsheets: entering data, editing and formatting, and using formulas for calculations.

Introduction to the Italian Language is scheduled Tuesday-Thursday, Oct. 24-26, from 7-8 p.m. in the Drinko Conference Room of the McKelvey Campus Center. This course introduces a fun and easy way to learn how to greet, introduce yourself, and hold basic conversations in Italian.

Intermediate Italian Language is scheduled Tuesday - Thursday, Nov. 7-9 and 14-16, from 7-8 p.m. in the Drinko Conference Room of the McKelvey Campus Center. Using similar methods as the introduction, this course will expand conversational Italian, as well as some written materials.

Line Dancing is scheduled on Thursdays, Nov. 2, 9, 16, and 30, from 6-7 p.m. in the Old 77 dance studio. Students will have fun while learning a few of the popular line dances, such as Boot Scootin' Boogie, Electric Slide, and more.
