Music Professor Attends National Conference

Dr. Anne Bentz, Westminster College assistant professor of music, recently attended the National Association of Teachers of Singing Conference.

"The purpose of this conference is for voice instructors from all over the United States and Canada to meet and exchange ideas on vocal technique, vocal pedagogy, diction, vocal literature, and performance," Bentz said. "Guest artists and composers of song are also invited to perform their works. This conference also brings together publishers of vocal music, organizations that promote music, and other distributors. We have the opportunity to purchases music for ourselves, our schools, and private studios at a discount."

Bentz, who has been with Westminster College since 2001, earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Deleware and her master's from the University of Maryland.
