Westminster Sorority Celebrates National Women's Friendship Day

Kappa Delta Sorority, one of the five national sororities at Westminster College, is sponsoring a dessert party Sunday, Sept. 17, from 1-3 p.m. in the Berlin Lounge located in the McKelvey Campus Center.

"All women on campus and in the community are invited to come and celebrate National Women's Friendship Day," said Summer Simmes, a junior political science major from Ashville, N.Y. and coordinator of this event. "It's free and open to the public, so we hope for a large crowd."

Kappa Delta sorority offers leadership and social opportunities for its members, as well as philanthropic work for the National Committee for Prevention of Child Abuse, Girl Scouts, and Children's Hospital.
