Six Westminster College Students Attend Labor/Management Meeting

Six Westminster College students attended the second annual luncheon meeting on Labor-Management Relations in Pittsburgh.

"We took our students to meet some well-known people in all areas of labor/management areas," said Betty Talbert, visiting instructor of business administration. "Some of our students are interested in mediation and conciliation areas of labor/management relationships. We hope to build on this experience and bring in experts to Westminster."

The featured speaker at the event was Thomas J. Usher, president, CEO, and chairman of the Board of United States Steel Corporation.

Nicole L. Beaver
is a daughter of Richard and Janet Beaver, 1524 Annette Ave. Beaver, a senior international business and German major, is a graduate of South Park High School.

Claysville, PA
Jared H.Gashel
is a son of Barry and Ruth Gashel. Gashel, a senior accounting and business administration major, is a graduate of McGuffey High School.

Zelienople, PA
Shannon L. Lutz
is a daughter of Ronald and Kelly Lutz, 161 Gudekunst Road. Lutz, a senior international business major, is a graduate of Seneca Valley High School.

Titusville, PA
Sarah L. Proper
is a daughter of Dwight and Barbara Proper, 13668 State Highway 8. Proper, a senior international business major, is a graduate of Titusville High School.

Boalsburg, PA
Diana M. Wells
is a daughter of Donald and Dagmar Wells, 104 Aspen Drive. Wells, a senior biology and business administration major, is a graduate of home schooling.
