Three Westminster College English professors, Drs. Elizabeth Ford, Deborah C. Mitchell, and Richard L. Sprow, will present a panel on "The Female Gaze" which is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 8 p.m. in the audio-visual classroom in Freeman Hall.

Each professor linked their papers on the female gaze in literature, film, and history. Ford's paper focuses on Hollywood make overs of the 1940s in "Now Voyager" and the Female Gaze"; Mitchell's paper concentrates on the Hollywood of the 1950s "Sabrina and the Female Gaze;" and Sprow's paper centers on "Thelma and Louise; Whose Gaze is This, Anyway?"

This colloquium is the first in a series of four scheduled for the George Bleasby Colloquia, a series of literary events in honor of Bleasby, who chaired the Department of English at Westminster from 1954-75.

The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the Westminster College Department of English at (724) 946-7342.
