Westminster College Madrigal Singers to Perform at St. Mary's Catholic Church

The Westminster College Madrigal Singers will perform during mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church on N. Beaver St. in New Castle Saturday, Dec. 9 at 4 p.m.

Under the direction of Dr. Robin Lind, the singers will perform "Ave Maria," "Haec Dies," and "O Taste and See," featuring a solo by Nora Drake, a senior music performance major from Greenville.

The group will also be performing the singing portion of the "Mass of Creation."

The concert was arranged by Prestin Dibble, a senior music education major at Westminster College from Karns City and minister of music at St. Mary's.

Lind, who joined the Westminster College faculty this year, serves not only as the director of choral activities, but also as assistant professor of music. She earned her undergraduate degree from Albertsons College of Idaho, her master's from the University of Oregon, and her Ph.D. from the University of Utah.
