Bullock received his undergraduate degree at Seattle Pacific University, his masters at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and University of Washington, and his Ph.D. from the University of Washington.

The Wayne H. Christy Lecture Series annually honors Dr. Wayne H. Christy, who was a long-time faculty member and chair of the Department of Religion and Philosophy at Westminster College. The program seeks out men and women who distinguish themselves by relating religion to issues of contemporary life.

The event is free and open to the public. A reception, sponsored by the Office of Church Relations and the Shenango Presbytery, will be held immediately after the lecture in the narthex of the Chapel.
