Four faculty members of the Religion Department of Westminster College will present "Religious Studies: An Interdisciplinary Discipline" as the final Faculty Forum of the fall semester Wednesday, Dec. 5, at 11:45 a.m. in Patterson Hall room 311.

Dr. Jeffrey Kripal, associate professor of religion at Westminster College, will begin the presentation with an overall view of the discipline. Then Drs. Ann Cobel, assistant professor of Christian education, Kang-Yup Na, assistant professor of religion, and Bryan Rennie, associate professor of religion and philosophy, will discuss the differences between the "religion" department and a "religious" department.

"We wanted to present the academic discipline of religion, or religious studies, to the faculty," said Na. "Of course, we hope that students will also understand what it is that we do."

The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Na at (724) 946-7155 or e-mail nak@westminster.edu.
